Zinedine Zidane has said that Gareth Bale is close to leaving Real Madrid as he was left out of Saturday's International Champions Cup match against Bayern Munich.
Bale was considered excessive to Zidane's claims and Wales star missed Real 3-1 defeat to Bayern in Houston.

Asked why Bale was left out of the squad on Saturday, Zidane told reporters that the Welsh star was close to leaving.
"Bale did not play because he is very close to leaving. The club is trying to sell it, "Zidane said after the game.
"We hope he will leave soon, if he leaves tomorrow it would be better for everyone."
"It's nothing personal, I have nothing against Bale, but I have to make decisions."

"There is a time when it is time to change and it is good for each to go in separate ways."
"The departure is the decision of the coach, and also the player who knows the situation," concluded the Frenchman.
