Alexis Sanchez is expected to undergo medical tests at Inter on Tuesday after agreeing a loan deal with the option to buy him at the end of the season for 15 million euros and with Manchester United paying him 75 per cent of his salary.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, negotiations between the English club and agent Fernando Felicevich are continuing on track.
The Chilean striker will be transferred to the Nerazzurri on loan from United with the right to buy at the end of the season for 15 million euros.
The English team has agreed to pay more than half of Sanchez's salary in order to reach an agreement with the Italian giant.
The hospital, on the other hand, reports that Inter will only pay four million euros in salary - roughly a quarter of the total.
Alexis is expected to be in Italy tomorrow (Monday) evening, preparing to undergo medical tests and sign the contract on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old has been on Antonio Conte's wish list for many years, even while at Juventus.
Sanchez had made a name for himself when he was at Udinese from 2008 to 2011, moving to Barcelona for € 26m, then to Arsenal for € 42.5m in 2014 and four years later to Manchester United for € 34m.
