Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Gareth Bale will remain at the club this summer.
Zidane stated during the pre-season that the club were looking to sell the former Tottenham star, but no action materialized.
The Frenchman has now returned him to the starting lineup in their first game of the 2019-20 La Liga season.
Bale did well in assisting Karim Benzema for Real's opener in their 3-1 win at Celta Vigo and Zidane confirmed the decision to keep the Welshman in the club.

“Bale is staying. Everyone in the squad is positive and he is a part of that, ”Zidane said at the post-match conference.
"I've always thought about starting the game today, despite Eden Hazard's injury."
"What is important now is to focus on the continuation of the season," concluded the Real coach.
Bale was linked with a move to the Chinese Super League, but he has repeatedly stated his preference to remain in the Spanish capital.
