Philippe Coutinho, the most expensive player in the history of Barcelona, has left to join Bayern Munich on loan.
The Brazilian arrived at the Camp Nou in early 2018 projecting himself as the replacement for Andrés Iniesta, who had left Barcelona after the end of the 2017/18 season.
Coutinho was a performer, the Liverpool star in the Premier League. He, too, had shown Spain the potential at Espanyol in 2012.
The midfielder has played 76 times for the club since joining, with only Jordi Alban and Ivan Rakitic playing the most.
Since his arrival, Coutinho has scored just 21 goals, leaving behind teammates Luis Suarez (40) and Lionel Messi (71).
It managed came to 120m euros with the potential to rise to 135m euros.
This investment seems lost considering that he left for the Bundesliga.
